A unique futuristic online open world shooter by the name of Defiance finally comes out of beta and will launch globally on April 2nd on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and on Windows PC. In Defiance, players will embark on a journey where the survival of Earth relies on their skills as an Ark Hunter, progressively improving on your abilities in massive co-op battles and fierce multiplayer combat. Players can also hunt alone while and unlocking powerful modern and alien weaponry that is essential for survival in the constantly evolving online world. Defiance invites gamers to explore vast landscapes on a variety of vehicles, with an every changing world impacted by the events that take place on TV series on Syfy.
Nathan Richardsson, Trion’s VP of Development and Defiance Executive Producer was quoted saying: “In terms of ambition and scope, Defiance’s transmedia features make it unlike any other entertainment experience. After five years of development, it brings great pride to the Trion and Syfy teams seeing Defiance come to fruition.”
