Hideo Kojima silences the rumours regarding Metal Gear Solid 5′s ‘secret showing’ at Comic Con – Rumours about Metal Gear Solid 5′s appearance at Comic Con this weekend have been fuelled by tweets, images and the idea that Kojima’s ‘Project Ogre’ was in fact the much sought after sequel. Once Kojima caught wind of all of this, he immediately confirmed them as fake and left it at that.

Hints of Halo 5? 343 industries hiring for next gen Halo – 343 industries seems to already be hiring for Halo 5 if a recent job listing from Microsoft is to be believed. The listing reads “Microsoft Studios 343 Industries is looking for an experienced graphics developer to help create the current and next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe.” The least this information gives us thus far is that Microsoft aren’t planning to start off next gen without a bang.
Single player Mass Effect 3 DLC will probably be about Shepard – Despite rumours that made their rounds on the internet earlier in the year, planned single player DLC for Mass Effect 3 will “probably” be focussing on Shepard, Bioware have said. They also added that multiplayer DLC will still be made “if people still play it.”
Following rumours of a Battlefield 4 beta, EA has officially confirmed the game’s existence – After some promotional material for EA’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter contained hints of a Battlefield 4 beta, fans have since been clamouring for some clarification about it. Well, EA has finally given in and confirmed that Battlefield 4 exists, going on to say that it will be playable in beta form come 2013.
